A Little Personal History .... and a few bona fides:

You might not be able to tell from the photo of me just to the left, but I'm a VERY healthy 80 years-young. Mostly, I practice what I preach. I talked about that on yet another page, the link to which is shown above as "HOME". That is also where you will find the story of The "Sacred Valley of Longevity", the place where some of the healthiest people on Planet Earth live, including yours truly.

Now, let me take a moment or two to share with you my bona fides, a little personal background, to assure you that I'm not some fly-by-night huckster, and that I might just know what I'm talking about. I've earned my knowledge the hard way, as you'll see. But let me hasten to assure you that I'm not just some "old foggy" trying to impress you with his so-called accumulated wisdom. Let me explain:

I moved here to Vilcabamba from an equally small village on the Island of Maui in Hawaii, a place called Hana. I had been managing partner and director of one of Hawaii's premier art gallery businesses for the previous 30 or so years, and had just "retired".

Believe me, I'd searched the world for my own personal retirement Shangri La, somewhere just as beautiful as Hawaii, with people just as friendly. The problem was to find that AND make sure that it was affordable. I wasn't just looking for new adventures, I'd had my fair share of those!

To say that I have had an "interesting life" would be a wild understatement. For example:

When I decided to make Maui my year-round home in the late 1970s, I'd already been a Wyoming cowboy, Marine Corps officer, a monastic monk-theologian, Personal Growth Center director (The Tahoe Institute) and an award-winning restaurateur (a Fellow of the Culinary Institute of America and Chevalier of the Confreire de Chaine des Rotisseurs), and a ski lodge hotel entrepreneur (The Christiania Inn) at Lake Tahoe, in Heavenly Valley. Hm-mmm, seems I'm attracted to magical valleys, doesn't it?

And sometime during all of those Life Adventures, I had also been a husband .... oh, and back in my younger and more derring-do days, a specialist in high-value international art thefts for a governmental agency whose initials shall go unmentioned.

So-oooooo, does all that sort of sound like someone who has lived most of his fantasies and dreams? I've managed to cram in several lifetimes of adventures into my 80 plus years .... and, like the old Energizer Bunny, I'm still going, going, going! And this might also give you an idea of why I have had to keep pretty healthy all these years.

Now, in my "golden years", the trick would be to stay that way ... to enhance my state of health and vitality. And that, dear reader, led me to Vilcabamba, the "Valley of Longevity". What I have learned here from these gentle people has completely revolutionized my ideas about health in general and longevity in particular.

Perhaps I should also point out that for the past half century I have read and studied book after book, research papers, abstracts and what ever I could find that discussed food and feeding. All of the various arguments pro and con concerning raw-foodism, vegetarianism and carnivorism have been studied. I have found, as maybe you have also, that each of these "isms" seem to omit the bad features and favored what they thought were the good. I have chosen a different course here in this report. I will attempt to provide the facts and allow you, the reader, to make up your own minds as to what's best for you in your unique case.

I now try to share what I've learned over the years about health and longevity. I do this as a means of at least partially giving back some of the abundance I've been given. It's called a pay-back to others funded by a karmic salary. How well I am able to do this I shall leave up to the reader.

However (doesn't there always seem to be these "howevers" in life?), let me hasten to admit that a lot of material in the FREE report that I'm offering on this page will be made a part of a book that is currently a work-in-progress, with the working title of "The Maintenance Manual For Humankind". If you do decide to download my free report, then you will be on my private mailing list to receive notification when the book is ready for release ... and a substantial discount as well.

Another of my personal passions, is being part of an information service for those who are tired of
Big Brother and would like to claim more practical freedom for themselves.

This operates like a private club. It's called SovereignLife - and you can learn more about it HERE This link will take you to my colleague David MacGregor's home page, where he can explain all about Sovereign Life and how it might be of interest to you. There is also a FREE REPORT that will tell you all you need to know about legal offshore banking. You'll need that information if you decide to become one of my neighbors here in Ecuador.

The internet, along with my move to South America, has given me freedom like never before and I'm passionate about helping others see the potential, and to realize a similar dream for themselves.

Maybe it's your dream too? If so, check out www.SovereignLife.com. Tell my friend David that I sent you.

All the best ...

Patrick
